Joubert Fortes Flores Filho

Electrical Engineer graduated at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), in 1978; Electrotechnical by CEFET-RJ (1973) and MBA in Energy Management at the Post Graduation School of Economics at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2002), CEO Program at Tel Aviv University and Pos grade of Policy Science at Fundacao Dom Cabral. He worked at Metrô Rio from 1974 to 2019, 20 years as Maintenance Manager and holding positions as Director of Engineering, Management and Development (in charge of implementation Technical Director on of Asset Management Policy; Director of Institutional Relations and Human Resources (2005 to 2011), Senior Advisor, among others. Technical Director at Skyrail BYD Brasil( 2020-2022) and Senior Advisor (2022-2023).

Joubert is also Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Passenger Rail Operators (ANPTrilhos);President of Section IV Rail Cargo and Passenger Transport of the National Transport Confederation (CNT) and Vice-Chairman of Latin America of the International Union of Railway (UIC). He was Vice-Chairman of Latin America of the World Metro Committee of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), from 2017 to 2021; Second Vice President of the Latin American Metro and Underground Association (Alamys) from 2019 to 2022; President of the Brazilian National Association of Maintenance (ABRAMAN) from 2003 to 2007.
